Breathing

Breathing: You know how to, but do you?

The first thing we do is inhale, the last thing we do is exhale.

The “bookends” of our life could be defined by our breath.

In fact our breathing is so vital to all aspects of our health and well-being, yet for many of us, we don’t even consider how important it is until we struggle with it.

Breathing is our silent partner for life, it nourishes and energises us and carries vast potential many of us have not tapped into. The ancient yogi’s believe our breath connects us intimately with the divine intelligence of the cosmos.

We know we can survive for some time without food and even water, but not without breathing.

One of the ways breathwork impacts us significantly is its influence on our nervous system. Through breath techniques, we can regulate the nervous system.

By breathing in specific ways, we can activate either of

the two branches of the ANS (autonomic nervous system) the sympathetic (energising) and the parasympathetic (relaxing) and/or balance them.

As a certified Dru breath coach, I can design a unique program based on scientifically researched principles to enhance your breathing which will directly impact health and well-being and support challenges you may be experiencing physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Breath work has become very popularised in recent years.

Dru draws on ancient yogic knowledge of pranayama ( prana = life force/ yama = control) and modern science to create a body of wisdom and practical tools to support, strengthen, revitalise and enhance breath capacity and efficiency.

One-to-one programs can be designed to meet your unique needs, book in for your personalised discovery session with me and connect with the power of your breath.
